Rusk, TX.- The group above recently met in Rusk at the Texas Informer office to plan Black history displays for the Museum and Historical Commission Office.  Some of the categories which will be covered are community, education, religion, war heroes and athletes. The public is asked to visit the museum to view the displays during the month of February. Maxine will provide Rusk history, George and Linda will provide Alto history, Charlie will provide Jacksonville history . Dr. Hackney and George are current members of the Commission and Charlie and Maxine are former members.
